The PM Awas Yojana Gramin list is the official village-wise record of who has been sanctioned a house — and whether your name is on it decides everything. You can check the PMAY-G list 2026 online by registration number, by name, or village-wise on pmayg.nic.in. Here is every method, step by step.
Method 1 — Check by registration number (fastest)
- Open pmayg.nic.in
- Go to Stakeholders → IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary
- Enter your registration number and click Submit
- Your record shows sanction status, house progress and installments paid
Method 2 — Village-wise list (no registration number needed)
- On the same page, click Advanced Search
- Select State → District → Block → Panchayat
- Search by name, BPL number, sanction order or father/husband name
- The full village list appears — find your household entry
Method 3 — Full village report (AwaasSoft reports)
- On pmayg.nic.in open Awaassoft → Report
- Under Social Audit Reports choose Beneficiary details for verification
- Pick year, state, district, block and village + captcha
- Download the complete village list with names, sanction and completion status
List checks are free on the official portal — beware lookalike sites.

| Name missing | Not yet selected — see below |
Name not in the PMAY-G list 2026?
- Check the Awaas+ survey: new selections come from the Awaas+ 2.0 survey list — ask your gram panchayat whether your household was surveyed, and request the self-survey option if the window is open
- Verify exclusion criteria: owning a pucca house, motorised vehicle, KCC limit ≥ ₹50,000 or a government job disqualifies the household — see PMAY eligibility
- Waitlist position: being surveyed does not mean instant sanction — houses are sanctioned in phases against yearly targets
- Wrong details: spelling/record errors are fixed at the block office with your documents
Frequently asked questions
Is there a separate PMAY urban list?
Yes — urban beneficiaries are tracked by their ULB and the PMAY-U portal with an assessment ID, not the pmayg.nic.in list. See our PMAY overview.
Can I check the list on mobile?
Yes, pmayg.nic.in works in mobile browsers, and the AwaasApp provides survey and tracking functions.
Someone is asking money to “add my name to the list”. Is that real?
It is a scam. Names enter the list only through the verified Awaas+/SECC survey and gram sabha process — nobody can sell you a slot. Report demands for money to your district collector or block office.
How often is the list updated?
Continuously — as sanctions, installments and completions are recorded in AwaasSoft. Re-check after each sanction phase in your state.
