Frequently asked questions
Can both husband and wife enrol?
Yes — if both are eligible small/marginal farmers, each can enrol separately for ₹3,000 pensions each.
How is this different from PM-SYM?
Identical structure — PM-KMY targets landholding farmers; PM-SYM targets unorganised workers. You can join only one Maandhan scheme.
What if I miss contributions?
Regularise with pending amounts plus small interest; long defaults can deactivate the account until regularised.
