PM Vishwakarma applications pass through three verification stages before benefits start, so “status check” matters more here than in most schemes. This guide shows how to track your application on the portal, what each stage means, and how to speed up a stuck verification.
How to check your application status
- Open pmvishwakarma.gov.in
- Click Login → Applicant/Beneficiary Login
- Enter your registered mobile number and verify with OTP
- Your dashboard shows the application stage, verification progress and benefit status (training, toolkit, loan)
Login with your registered mobile number — free of charge.
The three-stage verification
| Stage | Who verifies | What happens |
| Stage 1 | Gram Panchayat / ULB | Local body confirms you practise the trade |
| Stage 2 | District Implementation Committee | Screening of eligibility and documents |
| Stage 3 | State Screening Committee | Final approval and registration as Vishwakarma |
After stage-3 approval you receive the PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card, which unlock the toolkit incentive, training and loan benefits.
What each benefit status means
- Training pending: you will be called for 5–7 days of basic training with a ₹500/day stipend
- Toolkit incentive: ₹15,000 e-voucher issued after basic training — redeem it for trade tools
- Loan eligible: apply for the first tranche of up to ₹1 lakh (collateral-free, 5% interest); the second tranche up to ₹2 lakh comes after repaying the first and taking skill upgradation
Application stuck? Do this
- Pending at Stage 1 for weeks: follow up with your gram panchayat sarpanch/ULB office — this is the most common bottleneck
- Document issues: log in and check for query remarks; re-upload corrected documents
- Rejected: the reason shows in your dashboard — common ones are trade mismatch, age below 18, or a family member already registered
- Helpline: raise a grievance through the portal’s support section with your application number
Frequently asked questions
How long does full approval take?
Typically a few weeks to a couple of months depending on how quickly your panchayat and district committees verify. Regular follow-up at Stage 1 speeds things most.
Can I track without logging in?
No — status is shown in your applicant login. Keep the registered mobile active since OTP is the only way in.
I completed training but no toolkit voucher yet.
Vouchers are issued in batches after training data is updated. Check your dashboard and SMS; escalate via the grievance option if it exceeds a few weeks.
