PM Kisan installments of ₹2,000 are released three times a year, one in each four-month cycle. This page explains the installment calendar, how release dates are announced, and the checklist that decides whether your money arrives on day one or gets stuck.

Latest PM Kisan installment status (2026)

The 23rd installment of PM Kisan was released on 20 June 2026, transferring about ₹18,880 crore to more than 9.44 crore farmers. The 24th installment has not been officially dated yet, but based on the regular four-month cycle it is expected around October 2026. PM Kisan installment calendar

The government announces the exact release date shortly before each disbursement, and the Prime Minister usually releases the installment for all beneficiaries at once through DBT. The date is published on pmkisan.gov.in and covered widely in the press — beware of unofficial sites claiming “confirmed dates” before any announcement.

Will you get the next installment? 4-point checklist

1. e-KYC completed — shows “Yes” in Know Your Status
2. Aadhaar-seeded bank account — account NPCI-mapped to your Aadhaar
3. Land verification approved — your name appears in the beneficiary list
4. No exclusion flag — you are not marked ineligible (income tax, government job, etc.)

If all four are green, your installment is credited automatically — no action needed each cycle.

Installment released but not credited?

• Wait 3–5 working days after the release date — banks process crores of transfers in batches
• Check status: “FTO generated” means the transfer order exists and credit is on the way
• If it shows payment failure, verify your bank account is active and Aadhaar-linked, then update details via Farmers Corner

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to apply again for every installment?

No. Registration is one-time. Once approved, every installment comes automatically as long as e-KYC and bank seeding remain valid.

Can I get missed back-installments?

If your registration was approved but payments failed due to a fixable issue (e-KYC, bank account), pending installments are usually released together after the issue is fixed.
